Digestive Diseases
The Center for Digestive Diseases uses advanced technology including:
- The M2A Capsule Endoscope, or camera-in-a-pill, which enables physicians to see the entire span of a patient's small intestine
- Breath hydrogen testing for diagnosing lactose intolerance, too much sugar in the colon, or overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine
- Infusion therapy service, called peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC), for patients who require long-term IV medications.
