Organ Transplants at Baylor

Baylor’s transplant program was established in December 1984. Today it is one of the nation’s top transplant programs. Since its inception, the transplant centers have performed more than 6,000 solid organ transplants, including liver, kidney, pancreas, heart and lung.  In 2007, Baylor performed its 3,000th liver transplant - making it only the third program in the nation to reach this milestone.

The Baylor Regional Transplant Institute is the integration of transplant services at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas and Baylor All Saints Medical Center. Together, Baylor Dallas and Baylor All Saints are one of the largest multi-specialty transplant centers in the country.
