Orthopedics is the medical specialty that focuses on injuries and diseases of your body's musculoskeletal system. This complex system includes your bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves and allows you to move, work and be active.  

The first orthopedics surgeon in Dallas opened shop at Baylor in the early 1900s - and we're still on the forefront of orthopedic care.  

We treat orthopedic conditions from ankle to spine. We perform almost 9,000 orthopedic surgeries annually, including approximately 3,000 joint replacements. That's a track record of success and expertise you can trust, especially if your orthopedic needs are complex.
