Upon arriving at Baylor McKinney, you and your family will meet with a representative from our admitting department.
In most cases your financial information and benefit/payment arrangements have been verified prior to your arrival. However, please have your insurance card and driver’s license available for verification. This information allows direct billing to your insurance company.
Pre-admission certification is required by most insurance companies for non-emergency hospital stays. The physician must notify the insurance company prior to hospitalization. The hospital insurance verification department will confirm that pre-admission certification requirements have been met prior to your arrival. If you have questions please check with your insurance carrier for specific procedures. If you have any questions about your scheduled appointment or financial responsibility, please contact the admitting department at 469.764.2440.
