Caring Hearts®
Volunteers offer help, encouragement and emotional support to cardiac patients and their families by serving as role models for a healthy recovery from a cardiac event. Pre- and post-interventional visits and pre- and post-surgical visits by a volunteer with a similar history help alleviate anxiety and provide support.
Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation
A 12-week program held Monday, Wednesday and Friday for some cardiac patients. Patients exercise on treadmills and stationary bikes to improve endurance while being monitored by nurses. Cardiac education classes are also available. For more information or to register, call 817-424-4564.
