Doug Lawson serves as the President of the 233-bed Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine acute care facility.  This hospital offers advanced medical care for more than 20 cities throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

 

During Doug’s tenure at Baylor, the hospital has earned the VHA 2009 leadership award for its care of patients with heart failure, the Pathway to Excellence award, the Press Ganey Compass and Success Story awards and Chest Pain with PCI accreditation from the Society of Chest Pain Centers.

 

Named a 2008 Healthcare Hero by the Dallas Business Journal, Doug is a highly-regarded health care leader who has consistently driven exemplary results throughout his 16-year health care tenure. In addition to Baylor, Doug has held progressively-responsible leadership roles at M.D. Anderson, Saint Luke’s Health System and Cabell Huntington Hospital.
