Stroke & Neurological Care 

Patients who have had a neurological incident, injury or condition such as a traumatic brain injury, stroke, or others may require intensive nursing care and frequent physician monitoring to improve. We offer extensive physical, occupational and speech therapies to help maximize your quality of life and reach independence.

Assessment and Treatment Focused on You

Treatment is provided by team of specialists who conduct an assessment of your abilities and determine a treatment plan that best fits your needs and goals.

Treatment Focuses On:
  • Increasing strength and endurance
  • Use of assistive devices or other techniques
  • Extensive education and training for the patient and family
  • Pastoral care and counseling
  • Nutritional support
  • Intravenous medications, including anti-infection, coricosteriods, muscle relaxants, immunosuppressants, anticoagulants
  • Speech therapy
  • VitalStim Therapy - the only neuromuscular electrical stimulation technology cleared by the Food and Drug Administration to restore the swallowing function to patients with oropharyngeal dysphagia.
