Our Children's House at Baylor

About Us

At Our Children’s House, our identity is in our name. We think of your kids as our kids. And like you, we want the very best for your child.

We don’t feel like a hospital. We feel like home. A warm Victorian exterior, bright interior colors—even a nurses’ station whimsically modeled after a boat sailing the seas—create a warm, safe environment for your child.

Part of Our Family

Our mission is to provide family-centered, supportive services for children in need of special care. This isn’t just a statement we hang on our wall. It’s what drives who we are and what we do.

While staying at Our Children’s House, you’re part of our family. In fact, we’re smaller in size because we focus on families. Here, family and siblings are welcome to visit and participate in therapy. Parents can stay 24 hours a day.

Helping You Get Home

At Our Children’s House, we’ll promote your child’s healing with every ounce of energy and medical expertise we can bring. We offer hope during medically trying times.

And parents find an extraordinary amount of support, education and counseling. Our average inpatient length of stay is one month because we take the time to equip you as you transition to caring for your child at home. And our outpatient services offer specialized care long after you’re home.
