Chest Pain Accreditation

Albert M. Goggans, M.D. and Robert W. Brown Regional Heart Center at Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth received full Cycle II accreditation with PCI from the Accreditation Review Committee on January 4, 2008.

More than five million Americans visit hospitals each year with chest pain. Teaching the public to recognize and react to the early symptoms of a possible heart attack, reducing the time to receive treatment and increasing the accuracy and effectiveness of treatment are among the goals of the Society of Chest Pain Centers.

The newly expanded cardiac cath lab at the Albert M. Goggans, M.D. and Robert W. Brown Regional Heart Center at Baylor Fort Worth offers advanced treatment protocols. A systematic approach to patient care help physicians on our medical staff to begin treatments quickly during the early stages of a heart attack when treatments are most effective, and to monitor patients while unclear if they are having a coronary event.
