2007 VHA Leadership Award for Clinical Excellence

Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth received a 2007 VHA Leadership Award for Clinical Excellence in surgical infection prevention. The award honors organizations that have differentiated themselves around national performance standards by achieving exceptionally high levels of performance.

2008 National Quality Forum Healthcare Award

The award recognizes exemplary healthcare organizations who are role models for achieving meaningful, sustainable quality improvement in healthcare, and is presented in partnership with Modern Healthcare magazine and Studer Group.

Texas Nurses Association’s 100 Great Nurses

Date Awarded: April 23, 2007
The 100 Great Nurses award focuses on nurses’ qualities as role models in leadership, service to the community, compassion as a caregiver, and significant contributions to nursing. The following nurses received the 100 Great Nurses award.

American Diabetes Association Recognition

Date Awarded: October 29, 2007
The Baylor Diabetes Education Center at Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth received American Diabetes Association (ADA) Recognition for another 3 years. Baylor is one of the largest multisite programs in the country. ADA Recognition is necessary for DSMT (diabetes self-management training) reimbursement from Medicare.

Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Award of Excellence

Date Awarded: May 25, 2007
Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth received a Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Award of Excellence from TMF Health Quality Institute (TMF), the Medicare quality improvement organization for Texas. The award recognizes hospitals that have improved their initial baseline performance on specific national quality measures related to acute myocardial infarction, heart failure, and pneumonia.

Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO)

Chest Pain Center Accreditation

Date Accredited: January 4, 2008- January 3, 2011
Baylor All Saints Medical Center at Fort Worth has received full Cycle II accreditation with PCI from the Society of Chest Pain Centers. The Chest Pain Center at Baylor All Saints Medical Center demonstrated its expertise and commitment to quality patient care by meeting or exceeding a wide set of stringent criteria and completing on-site evaluations by a review team from the Society of Chest Pain Centers.
