At Baylor Health Care System, we offer you more than a job. As a Baylor pharmacy professional, you'll be a vital part of a dedicated medical team that's working together to improve patients lives.
Our pharmacists provide pharmaceutical care to our patients, compounding and dispensing prescribed medications. They also consult with patients, doctors and nurses about drug therapies and assess medication orders. In addition to developing medication protocols with physicians, many of our pharmacists participate in research, teach pharmacy students and conduct drug therapy in-services for other health care professionals.
Our pharmacy techs fill orders for pharmaceuticals and perform related duties. They provide professional, courteous and efficient customer service to pharmacy customers and assist a licensed pharmacist in the preparation of medications as directed and in accordance with state or federal pharmacy laws.
We provide support and on-going training that allows our pharmacy professionals of all levels to advance in their careers. We also offer a one-year Pharmacy Residency Program at Baylor Dallas and Baylor All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth. The residency program provides specific skills and competencies that are needed to assume leadership roles within the profession.
