JOSEPH DANIELS JOINS BAYLOR PLANO AND BAYLOR DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING CENTER AT CRAIG RANCH

 

(PLANO, TEXAS July 16, 2009) - Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano is proud to announce Joseph Daniels, RT(R, NM), MBA, as the director of imaging services for Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano and the new Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Center at Craig Ranch, an outpatient department of Baylor Plano.

 

Daniels received his Bachelor of Science in accounting and his Masters of Business Administration in finance and marketing from DePaul University. He also holds certification in both nuclear medicine and radiologic technology completing programs at the Nuclear Medicine Institute in Cleveland, OH and St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL respectively. Prior to joining Baylor Plano, Daniels held various positions including the Administrative Director of Radiology at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison, WI. Daniels is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Healthcare Radiology Administrators and the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

In his new position Daniels will oversee the Baylor Plano imaging services, the new Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano Women’s Imaging Center and the new 9,586-square-foot Baylor Diagnostic Imaging Center at Craig Ranch, located at 8080 S. State Highway 121, Suite 220 in McKinney. The Craig Ranch facility offers full service, digital imaging and diagnostic services, including dual-head molecular breast imaging, mammography, ultrasound, and bone density. Beginning in August, the facility will also offer MRI, CT, and diagnostic radiology. The new facility is one of a few facilities in the world, and the only facility in Texas to offer dual-head molecular breast imaging, which can accurately detect small tumors less than 1 cm. in size and is ideal for patients with dense breast tissue and those with increased risk of breast cancer.
