AMERICAN DIABETES ALERT® DAY
(PLANO, TEXAS – Mar. 10) On March 24, American Diabetes Alert Day® is recognized to alert people about the risks of developing diabetes. When detected early, diabetes can be managed and its complications prevented or delayed. To help raise awareness of diabetes, Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano will offer free diabetes and nutrition education on Friday, March 20 from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Baylor Plano, 4700 Alliance Blvd., in Conference Room A/B on the Garden Level. In addition, free colorectal cancer home kits, blood pressure screenings, and sleep apnea assessments will be offered. Cholesterol and glucose testing will be offered for $15.
